I have transferred all recorded files to my PC. The device now indicates that the folders are empty. Everything is gone. However, I can hardly record anything. The device stops the recording and says that the memory is full. Can I clear the memory? If yes, how?

My files seem to have all disappeared off my Olympus WS-853 but it says 31 hours on the screen. is there a way they are stored in the recorder?

The files may still be stored in the recorder. You can try selecting folders and files to locate and access your missing files. Press the +, –, 9, or 0 button to navigate through the dates and select the desired file. Use the OK button to confirm your selection and start playback.

We have record volume set to highest level and playback set to highest lever but can get almost nothing out of the speakers. How do we get a louder playback volume?

i can't charge the digital recorder. When i pushed out the usb, it does not show the message 'charging ok'. there was no reaction and the device is running on low batt already.

Playback is not loud enough to hear even with the volume at is highest level (30). Is there a way to fix this?
